Santa Barbara Island
For several years volunteers from the Gulf of the Farallones National
Marine Sanctuary's (GFNMS) Beach Watch (BW) and SEALS (S) programs and
the Marine Mammal Center (MMC) have gone on an annual boating/camping/snorkeling/
kayaking expedition to tiny Santa Barbara Island in California's Channel
Islands. This year I was lucky enough to join the 15 other hearty voyageurs
on the trip from 17-20 July 2003. Please notice that there are two pages
