Canyonfire: Dan's Visit

Dan Norstedt is a reference librarian at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, where we were good friends and colleagues. He was supposed to be skiing in Reno, but decided skiing was not really his bag after all, and so took a bus from Reno to San Francisco to visit me for a few days in January 2002 instead of skiing. I retrieved him from the Greyhound Station in the Mission District on a Friday evening, and then we walked to a Spanish tapas restaurant, El Pícaro, for a terrific dinner (sorry: no camera).
