Canyonfire:
Sunol April is glorious on upland hikes in the Bay Area. The rainy season is finally over and by mid-month the wildflowers are out in profusion. My brother Brian, our friend Stella, and I set off on April 14, 2002, for a hike in the Sunol Wilderness in the Coastal Range east of Fremont in the East Bay.
